Chio Maisriml

was born in 1964 in Braunau/Austria, further additions to the development process were ( in this order ):

Infant, good student, not so good student anymore, bassplayer in a mediocre heavy-metal band, bad student, drummer with hearing problems, drop-out, unemployed, construction worker, soldier ( not very disciplined ), factory worker, unemployed, "Externisten Maturant", student ( electronic science ), bassplayer in several blues bands, delivery boy, book trader

From 1990 on he studied advertisement graphics, 2 years later he started a business as a graphics artist. At first in the print sector later on more and more with the new media.

Today Maisriml has gained a name as designer an develeoper of heavly scripted Director-applications. His regular customers are media-companies, magazine-companies and some companies/clubs around vienna.

Maisriml didn't come to drawing he has been doing that all along. First cartoons in student newspapers were distributed, yet forming his style were posters and flyers for heavy-metal bands: insectlike women, dragons, aliens.
From 1995 on series 1 - 3 were created. Airbrush on cardboard. Since airbrush offered little possibilities for corrections Maisriml even sketched those before with Artpad on his pc. From 1998 on he let go of airbrushing and created them as a whole on his computer.
